christmas with corrinne may

yes! another sold-out performance, and another long queue of getting her autograph. She sang the songs from her latest xmas album, but she belt out other xmas songs she wrote which were heard by the audience for the first time, but not found in the album. In general, beautiful!

long long queue...

the sign ...

got my snapshot with corrinne ... hahahaha! (that is, after two hours of queueing up ...)

Interestingly, this is probably the only singapore scenario I've seen where the autograph session was so orderly, that people are so willing to queue patiently for at least 2 hours, and not heard of a word of complaint.

maslius

His name is maslius ... as what he has told me. An orphan from Nias, he is residing in besteda orphanage. Either one or both of his parents are missing or have died during the asian tsunami in 2004. He caught my eyes when he sang during the Nias Christmas Celebration service on 9 Dec 2006. His eyes and facial expressions were very sad when they were singing a song dedicated to their parents who were lost, dead. The song got the whole congregation to break into tears.

At least I know, he still has a father ... the Heavenly Father, to watch over him, to father him.

doulos

Dolous came to Singapore and opened itself to the public from 10 - 19 Nov 2006, besides the new VivoCity. Didn't get what I want, because all my money were loaned to Simon to buy his Christmas present for his cell kids - 16 copies of "prayer of jabez for teens" at S$4 each. Nonetheless, it was fun going aboard as it had been many years since I last stepped onto it.

blueberry cheesecake and monster burger

Last Friday evening, I was on my way to the psycho lecture at prinsep street when I bumped into dori who was inside the koco cafe (opposite the new nafa campus) waiting for her friends. She began to rave about the blueberry cheesecake (koco's famous product) and that's it ... I was stuck there for a while, savouring their zao-pai-cai (their signboard dish), and the slurrpy yummy fattening monster burger which has succulent and oily PORK BEACONS !!!! (Dori doesn't like to eat PORK because she loves piggy ... hahaha).

The photos don't look so tempting, but just pop by that koco cafe, which is at sunshine plaza (bencoolen street, facing the new NAFA campus) and give it a shot. Go early before their cakes are sold out.

See that layer of blueberry ? (no, and it's not the stuff that comes out from your an*s and makes the grass grows green).

See the design? Too nice to eat le ..

MONSTER BURGER!!! BURRRRP.

ok, so my shooting skills sucks big time ... but who cares ... hahaha

the p6/s1 cg kids

Just some of the kids from my Primary 6/Sec 1 cell group. All I can say is that, they are learning and growing ... and I believe that one day, they will become the soldiers whom God has created them to be, for His purpose and glory.

sentosa

Hmmm, couldn't make up my mind ... which way shall I take? The left or the right? ....

The pics were taken in January this year after I decided to make the visit as regular as I can ... to get away from the mainland and spend some time in solitude with God ... and to get some tanning, of course. That day, the weather was kind of wet and I was hiding at Bora Bora Beach Bar at the Palawan Beach. With all the jazz music being played off from their PC, I actually found it quite a nice place to hang around, with a price to pay, of course. :P

Sunset @ Sentosa ... taken this shot outside the Beach Carpark, situated between Palawan and Siloso Beach. I love sunset scenes ... reminds me of the beauty of the Holy One.
